We continue our countdown to Center of Gravity 2012 this week with a preview of hip hop artist Yelawolf. I didn’t know anything about Yelawolf before the announcement that he was coming the festival but fortunately my roommate turns out to be a huge fan. So now I feel that I have heard all of his songs because carpooling to work with him has turned into personal Yelawolf concerts.

Currently signed with Shady Records, Yelawolf brings some heavy hitting rap tunes to the stage. I am a little skeptical about how amped the crowd is going to be and that’s only because I’m not sure how many people know the lyrics to his songs. Nevertheless his flow and beats are sick and with the sunshine and alcohol that will be abundant in August Yelawolf will be a great show.
